Forklift Operator

 

CCB Packaging is a locally owned leader in the packaging industry and is looking for motivated, experienced workers who want to work with the latest technology! Currently hiring 2nd and 3rd shift Forklift Operators.


Essential job responsibilities and duties:

  • Load, unload, move, stack and stage product using a forklift.
  • Unload inbound shipments that are accurate and free of damage.
  • Operate a bar code scanner to enable inventory accuracy.
  • Supply production lines with appropriate materials.
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment.
  • Efficiently move product from staging or storage areas into trailers.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team building, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred but not required.
  • Previous manufacturing experience helpful.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Maintenance Technician


Do you want a desirable schedule working 7 out of every 14 days? Do you want to work with the latest technology? Then look no further! CCB Packaging is looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians to work a 12-hr alternate schedule on the night shift. As a Maintenance Technician you are responsible for conducting machine setups, troubleshooting, machine repairs and preventative maintenance service on various packaging and production machines and equipment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Perform maintenance according to work orders by responding to down equipment, troubleshooting problems and performing necessary repairs.
  • Work on projects related to equipment improvements and machine upgrades which may involve modifying, rebuilding or overhauling equipment to meet upgraded standards.
  • Proactively perform preventive and/or corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure equipment is producing the best consumer product.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
  • Read and interpret blue prints or other forms of engineering drawings.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and LOTO rules.

Special skills necessary to perform the job:

  • Knowledge of servo drives and motors.
  • Welding, lathe, mill and fabrication skills preferred.
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge as well as a vast understanding of pneumatics, VFDs, control circuits and industrial robotics.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical / electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot through past experience and industry knowledge.
  • Technical understanding and comprehension of mechanical principles.
  • Earnestly looks for ways to improve skills and is a dedicated and driven learner.
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and other mechanical equipment.
  • Able to work well independently and as a team.
  • Must be self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload.

Physical Requirement:

  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position requiring heavy lifting up to 50lbs, carrying tools and supplies, kneeling and stooping and standing on feet for long periods of time.

Education/Experience:
An Industrial Maintenance Associates degree and/or equivalent on-the-job experience. Minimum of two years of automation manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair.

Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
